WHAT IS HIP HOP BATTLE ARENA ?

After some years enjoying Hip Hop as a musical art form, I began to investigate the possibility of developing a Hip Hop Battle Website during late 2008. Following a period of development, during which time I learned a number of new web techniques such as php and mysql linking with a flash interface. I had the satisfaction of posting hiphopbattlearena.com to the web in April 2009.

The design and development of Hip Hop Battle Arena has very much been a journey of personal growth for me, as I have had the satisfaction of seeing a successful website go from a collection of personal ideas and notions to a completed fully functioning website. As part of my personal development, I have learned the importance of networking, both social and business, and the importance of the increased use of blogging to enhance the web browsing experience.

In conclusion, during the few months that the site has been live, traffic increase from 311 registered users, to 3,000+ unique users per month. I am confident that the future of Hip Hop Battle Arena is assured!

Diesel:U Radio (87.7 fm,) part of the Diesel Clothing Group and a major player in the field of Hip Hop, are supporting us by playing latest tracks that are uploaded to our site. I am also scheduled to make a number of appearances on Diesel FM, on the Lucy Pink Show.

DO I MAKE MONEY FROM HIPHOPBATTLEARENA?

Hip Hop Battle Arena is very much a personal development project for me. It allows me to develop, as designer and I don’t currently make money from advertisers or users. I do however gain knowledge and experience in programs I might not otherwise use on a regular basis.
